During extra magic hours are you allowed into the parks to attend a restaurant reservation if you are not staying at a disney hotel?

Hi Stacey! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Hooray! Your Walt Disney World Resort holiday is here. I bet you are thrilled that your countdown has reached its end and you will be visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" soon!

I love early morning breakfast reservations in the theme parks! There is something extra special about being in the theme parks when things are a bit calmer, quieter, and less crowded. We make it a point to take a few pictures when we are walking to our reservation since the theme park is much less busy than it will be later in the day, and I recommend arriving early so you have time to do the same!

You will be happy to know that, yes, Guests that have early breakfast reservations can enter the theme parks to get to their dining location even if they aren't staying at a Disney Resort hotel. There is usually a second checkpoint inside the theme park that only Guests staying on property can enter to enjoy Extra Magic Hours, while those with breakfast reservations are routed a different way. A Cast Member will verify your breakfast reservations at the entrance to the theme park, then you will scan your theme park ticket and be off to eat your delicious meal!

Enjoy your vacation, Stacey! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
