Hi Ted!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I have been using the
extra, Extra Magic Hours on my recent trip to Walt Disney World, and enjoying the lower crowds during that time, particularly at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Quick-Service restaurants at all the Disney Resort hotels are scheduled to open earlier in line with these hours, providing coffee and light offerings. This includes
Everything POP Shopping and Dining at
Disney's POP Century Resort. I would recommend that you stop by the Front Desk of your hotel to confirm the opening times during your visit. So that you can arrive at the theme parks in good time, all complimentary
Disney Resort & Theme Park Transport will begin operating around 45 minutes before park opening. Disney's POP Century Resort is served by buses and the brand new
Disney Skyliner, which will take you to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot (to the International Gateway entrance). I am so excited about this new way to travel around the Resort, which will give us a wonderful bird's eye view of Walt Disney World on our journey. They really are quite an amazing sight, even from the ground! I can't wait to try them out.
If you are visiting
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios during extra, Extra Magic Hours, there will be some Quick-Service options open for you to enjoy breakfast -
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo opens at 6.00am;
Kat Saka's Kettle (for snacks) opens at 6.00am;
Market (in Pixar Place), offering Mickey Pretzels and Lightsaber Churros opens at 6.30am; and
The Trolley Car Cafe, for all your Starbucks favourites and Disney baked goods, opens at 6.00am.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
Sue
