Ahoy there, Julie! Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so excited that you took the planDrew-approved approach to cruise more often by booking a placeholder for your next cruise! It sure does take the sting out of Debarkation Day knowing that you'll be back within the next two years. In my experience, however, except for these last two years, I've never made it more than a year after booking a placeholder before I'm back aboard!
I'm sorry that you have yet to get your confirmation! I know that usually, these confirmation emails are sent 24-72 hours after leaving the ship, but recently there have been delays. If you haven't already, just to be sure, I'd suggest searching for the term "onboard booking" in your email provider's search bar, since the subject line of the confirmation usually contains those words!
In the event you still don't see it, my next suggestion would be to check with your bank for the charge you were expecting. If you see that charge, that may indicate that the email may just be delayed! While I can't magically make the email pop into your inbox (though, wouldn't it be cool if I could?) my final suggestion, in this case, would be to
call a Disney Cruise Line crew member directly so they can look it up by your name.
Once you have this all squared away, I hope you take the chance to look at
all the itineraries that are currently available! There's a lot to be excited about between now and May 2023 - which as of this writing is as far ahead as can be booked - and you can't talk about upcoming excitement without mentioning the
Disney Wish!
Whichever amazing itinerary you decide to convert your placeholder to, Julie, I wish you another incredible adventure with your crew on the
Disney Cruise Line fleet. Thank you so much for sailing our way with your question, and if you run into any other stormy seas, please send another message in a bottle my way!
I wish you fair winds and following seas!
Andrew
