Is the Dumbo ride at Magic Kingdom Orlando closed?

Welcome to planDisney Deborah and thank you for stopping by with your question.

Magic Kingdom Park is famous for so many iconic attractions that give me warm and fuzzy feelings. Walking down Main Street U.S.A. toward Cinderella Castle makes me feel like a kid every single time. I know my day is going to be amazing when I smell the popcorn and see a handful of balloons held by a street vendor. My family has a tradition and I hope to always keep it alive. Our tradition is aboard Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Currently, Dumbo is fully operational with no refurbishment scheduled. We always get in three consecutive elephants and take a selfie with all of us in the shot. This attraction has gone through some changes over the years and they are really good changes. The big top tent is an air-conditioned playground for all ages to enjoy. I always let the kids run around and sit down and watch with my wife. You will get a buzzer if there is a wait so you can return when it is your turn to fly above the big top.

If you decide to ride at night you may be able to catch a glimpse of Happily Ever After from a new vantage point. This fireworks spectacular has made a return to the skies after Disney fans everywhere. This show has new projections on the buildings along Main Street U.S.A. I promise you will have a great view no matter where you decide to watch from.

I hope you have a great time when you visit this summer. If you have any other planning needs visit us again at planDisney.com
