Hi, we are going duing spring break mar 29-april 5. I planned to go to all 4 parks on extra magic hour days, MK on easter due to EMH till 1am but I've been reading birnbaum's guide & it says it's more crowded on EMH days, should I change my schedule ar

    Hi Elizabeth!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

It is true that the park that is holding Morning Extra Magic Hour can be more crowded that day than it normally would be as it draws in a lot of guests staying on Disney property.  However, a strategy that works well is to take advantage of the Morning Extra Magic Hour and then to park hop to another park at around Noon.  Of course this assumes that you have the park hopper option on your Magic  Your Way tickets.

Evening Extra Magic Hours can also impact a park's attendance, though I personally think it is less than Morning Extra Magic Hour.  If you want some great recommendations, I recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  They are famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar that predicts how crowded a park will be on any given day.  Their predictions are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  I am a huge fan of their work.

Good luck and please write back with more questions!
