Hi Rebecca!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such a great question! So I have to admit, I am not a Star Wars expert but luckily my teenager is! We have a reservation for
Savi's Workshop coming up soon and this kid has done all the research! (No worries, I verified everything he told me in order to provide you with the correct response). So as part of the lightsaber building experience, the first thing is to pick a kyber crystal as it is what gives each lightsaber its distinctive color. During the experience at Savi's Workshop, the only colors available (and included in the cost of the experience) are blue, green, violet or red. Because the experience is a guided/storytelling experience, they won't stop to sell additional colors, if that makes sense. If you would like to obtain extra color kyber crystals, including the yellow or white crystals, you can find them at a little place called
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. This is the only place that sells them. According to my teenager, these colors are very popular and tend to fly off the shelves. He also mentioned a black kyber crystal which is extremely rare and can only be found by surprise when purchasing a random color kyber crystal. That would be a cool find!
Quick Tip: The two attractions in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are extremely popular! Be sure to arrive early to
Disney's Hollywood Studios in order to join a Boarding Group to experience these attractions. Also be sure to download the
My Disney Experience App which is where you can join the Boarding Groups once you enter the park.
Rebecca, I am sure you and your husband are going to enjoy visiting Galaxy's Edge and Savi's Workshop! Also, enjoy your cruise! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you plan your vacation and please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
