We are due to come to Disney in September. We are getting married next year and are having an Up! Themed wedding! Is there merchandise for the film within the parks? We would love to be able to get favours or even one of the LEGO Up! Houses

Greetings, Ellie, and welcome to planDisney! First of all, congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I love your plan to theme the celebration around the movie Up. It's the perfect inspiration with its heartfelt messages of love, companionship, and adventure.

I've seen a lot of great merchandise at the Disneyland Resort related to the movie Up. In fact, my favorite pair of Mickey ears is themed after the film, featuring a grape soda bottle cap brooch, a bow tie-inspired bow, and a few other special touches. I've also seen some cute Disney Pins, including one of the house with beads representing the balloons. While I cannot say for sure what merchandise will be available in the parks when you visit in September, I am confident that you will be able to discover a few great options. Make sure to stop by Knick's Knacks on Pixar Pier and Little Green Men Store Command in Tomorrowland, among the many other shops across the Resort.

Might your plans include time inside California Adventure, Ellie? There's a chance you may encounter Dug near Grizzly River Run. It would be so cute to take a photo with him and use it in your wedding decorations.

Head to the Downtown Disney District to visit The LEGO Store and see if there are any sets themed to the movie available. You can also do some shopping online – the Disney Store UK website currently seems to have the Up House Model Building Set, along with some other merchandise you might be interested in.

Ellie, you're in for a real treat, because your visit to the Disneyland Resort falls during Halloween Time. Get ready to see lots of pumpkins, seasonal food and merchandise, special entertainment, and more.

Here are a few more ways to make your visit extra special:

    • Pick up complimentary “Happily Ever After” celebration buttons from City Hall or Guest Services along Buena Vista Street. You may also consider grabbing wedding-themed Mickey or Minnie ears to include in photos.
    • Let PhotoPass photographers help you capture some magical moments. There are multiple PhotoPass locations around the Resort – visit a few of them to build a collection of nice photos together. If you purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you'll receive unlimited digital downloads of PhotoPass photos (along with the added benefit of accessing shorter queues for popular attractions).
    • Make reservations for one of the table service restaurants for a nice sit-down meal. I really like Lamplight Lounge in California Adventure, which has nods to Pixar films throughout the restaurant, as well as panoramic views of Paradise Bay.
Ellie, have fun searching the various shops for merchandise that makes your heart sing during your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! I hope you have a fantastic time with your significant other as you make cherished memories ahead of the big day. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.

I'll leave you with my favorite quote from Carl, who said, "You'll always be my greatest adventure." What a perfect sentiment to carry with you into married life.

    Adventure is out there!
