Hello, Karina! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.
I find the weather at the Disneyland Resort to be nearly perfect most of the time. But I have visited when it has been cold and rainy and other times when it was over 100 degrees outside! Luckily, other than a few intermittent closures of select attractions and entertainment options, the parks operate in all kinds of weather. Only in very extreme circumstances will the parks completely close. So if you are only expecting a bit of rain for your upcoming visit, pack a poncho and an umbrella and get ready to have a great time. In fact, rainy days can be some of the best times to visit because the crowds tend to be lower.
You will want to use the
Disneyland app to look up if an attraction is temporarily closed because of rain. Most attractions will remain open but Radiator Springs Racers, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, Storybook Land Canal Boats, and a few others typically close for safety concerns in wet weather. If you happen to have a
FASTPASS for an attraction that closes during your return time, your FASTPASS will turn into a “Multiple Experiences FASTPASS.” That means you can use that FASTPASS for the same attraction when it begins operating again later in the day, or you can use it at another attraction in the same park that accepts FASTPASS (there will usually be a list of available attractions on the FASTPASS when viewed in the Disneyland app).
I hope this information is helpful. Have a delightful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
