Hi! Due unforeseen circumstances I will not be able to make my Disney Trip. How many times can I change the dates and do I need to use them within the year or can I use them in 2023. When I go to the calendar the months are not available to select.

Hi Monique and Welcome to planDisney!

I am so sorry to hear that you will not be able to make your planned Walt Disney World Resort vacation; the good news is that it seems you will have a vacation planned in the near future. I know all too well what it is like to have to make changes to fit your new schedule, but once you set a new date, the process will be easy.

You can make as many changes to your travel dates as long as the changes occur 30 days or more prior to your reserved arrival date. Please note that there may be a difference in the cost, and you will be responsible for any increase in fees if the price is higher than your original vacation. Also, if the changes are made less than 30 days before your arrival, you will be subject to a change fee.

If you want to lock down a specific resort in 2023, you can call Guest Relations at (407)939-1289 and book a room-only reservation 499 days before your proposed arrival. Once the packages for that timeframe are released, you can upgrade your resort stay to a package at that time.

Once you find new dates that work, the real fun of planning will begin, and we will be ready for you when the time comes. Please let us know if you have additional questions; we are here to help.

    Have a magical day!
