Hi Kathleen!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It's a pleasure to assist my fellow Guests from the UK, and I'm happy to see that you have a holiday planned for September. If the travel ban is extended through September, I would expect that your UK Tour Operator will cancel your trip, or re-schedule your plans for you, but you will have to discuss this with them directly. If you booked your UK Ultimate Tickets through the same Tour Operator they will have all the details about the validity of your tickets. If you booked your park tickets through the Walt Disney Travel Company International, please call them on freephone UK number 0800 169 0730, and have your booking reference handy. I'm sure they will be able to give you full details of the current cancellation/re-scheduling terms.
Are you referring to the new theme park reservations - the new
Disney Park Pass system? These will be required for every day you wish to visit a Walt Disney World theme park. This is in addition to your admission tickets, so as soon as you have purchased your tickets, please ensure you have set up your My Disney Experience Account and linked your tickets to your account, then you can go ahead and make your Disney Park Pass reservations from June 28th, 2020. Theme park reservations can be made up until September 2021. The information to be found in
Parks and Tickets: Know Before you Go explains this new system in detail. If you have to cancel these park reservations in advance, you can do so with no penalty.
At this time, prior to the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our holidays to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience. Please read this information about
Returning to a World of Magic and keep your eye on any new posts from the
Disney Parks Blog as more official details are announced.
We know you have many questions about what this all means for your upcoming visit. Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share. Come back and ask as many questions as you like! We are always happy to help you plan your holiday.
Sue
