We are due to be staying in the Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort and we have heard that it is a big place. We aim to rent a golf cart or bikes, how far in advance should we book, or can we wait until we arrive?

    Hey there Stephen!

Welcome to the wonderful world of The Cabins and Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! Buckle up for a journey through rustic charm and outdoor adventures! This is a top 5 Disney Resorts Collection hotel for my family. Staying in these cabins makes us feel like we are “glamping.” It’s nice to be able to come back after a long Theme Park Day and relax in comfort and style.

Not only do you have the great outdoors as your playground, but there are plenty of activities that you can take part in while staying here.

Feeling adventurous? How about Horseback Riding through the untamed beauty of the resort's trails! Embark on a one-hour trail ride where your guide is there to not only keep you safe but is happy to teach you and your family about these majestic horses.

Did you know that you can sign up for archery lessons? At the Fort Wilderness Archery Experience, you can test your aim and see if you've got what it takes to hit the bullseye.

When the sun goes down, gather 'round the campfire for some old-fashioned sing-alongs and storytelling, Disney-style. Roast marshmallows, swap tales of adventure, and maybe even catch a glimpse of some of your favorite Disney characters dropping by to say hello.

I prefer to rent a Golf Cart for our stay. There is a lot of outdoors to experience, and I feel that the Golf Cart is the best way to get around. To ensure you snag your wheels of fun, I'd recommend booking your golf cart as far in advance as possible. Fort Wilderness is like a popular theme park ride—everyone wants a piece of the action! So, hop on the booking train ASAP to secure your ticket to adventure.

I hope you love staying in the Cabins as much as my family does! Wishing you an unforgettable time!
