    Hi! Due to stay at OKW in Aug & have read that villas can be quite a distance from the resort entrance.Have character brekkies booked and wondered if we are short of time if it is easy to get taxis in the mornings & can they collect you inside the

    Hi Cary,

    Thanks for writing.  Old Key West is one of my family's favorite Disney Resorts.  The rooms and villas have recently been refurbished, and are gorgeous.  In addition, the rooms are huge, and afford families plenty of space for their Disney vacations.  Old Key West is, indeed, a large property, however, there are bus stops throughout the resort conveniently located near all guest areas.  If you are interested in taking a taxi to an early character breakfast meal and prefer not to walk up toward the front of the resort, you can call Bell Services, and request that they send a taxi to your villa.  I have done this several times with no problem.  I would recommend stopping by Bell Services the evening before your breakfast to find out what time they recommend you asking for your taxi.
