Hi Sharna,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your Walt Disney World vacation is THIS WEEK! How fantastically, magically exciting. I hope your family enjoys every minute of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
My family stayed in The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort earlier this year, and we absolutely loved it. There are so many delightful Disney details all around the room – it was like going on a treasure hunt looking for all the details hidden in the room by Ariel and her friends. Be sure to bring a camera, because there are so many special spots around the resort where your family can take fun photos with life-sized icons from your favorite Disney animated films.
It's my pleasure to confirm that there are indeed mini-refrigerators in The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms. We purchased milk from
The Landscape of Flavors food court so our children could have cereal in the mornings; I always bring a sleeve of disposable cups and some spoons so my kiddos can eat their cereal in the room with minimal spilling, and the cups work great for doling out snacks. You'll find all kinds of delicious snack options in the food court; I love the coffee and smoothie station there, and they always have a great selection of pastries too.
Sharna, it's time to start singing "we've got no troubles, life is the bubbles," because the fun is about to begin, and I hope you have the best days ever on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
