    We are due to go to WDW in November to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday. I have made reservations at the Sci-Fi Diner for her actual birthday and was wondering if you would know how we would arrange a birthday cake to be delivered to the restaurant?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us such a great question about customizing your celebration at Walt Disney World Resort! What a fantastic way to celebrate your mom’s 50th birthday. It will be “out of this world”!

    A custom cake will definitely be the icing on her birthday dinner. Custom birthday cakes are available at most Walt Disney World Resort table-service restaurants. You will be able to choose from a variety of shapes, sizes, fillings and flavors. The bakery requires at least 72 business hours notice for custom creations. For a custom bakery creation, please call the Disney bakery line at (407) 827-2253.

    Standard, non-custom 6-inch chocolate or vanilla cakes are also available for purchase at most table-service restaurants and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
