Due to a family member illness is it possible to alter reservations?

Hey there, Venissa, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! I’m extremely sorry to hear of your family member’s illness and I hope they are back to tip-top shape sooner than expected. It sounds like a Walt Disney World vacation will be the perfect way to lift everyone’s spirits after a tough season. Thankfully, Disney Vacations come with generous modification processes.

Venissa, if you booked a Disney Vacation Package as part of your scheduled vacation, you may be able to modify your reservations online through your My Disney Experience Account. This process is quick, easy, and doesn’t require a call to a Disney World Cast Member. After logging into your My Disney Experience Account, scroll down to the My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets section to locate your upcoming reservation, and select the “Change Reservation” option. This page will show you all of the online modification options available for your reservation, and all you have to do is complete the prompts for your changes to take effect. Reservation modifications may incur additional costs that require payment for processing, so keep this in mind as you confirm your reservation. If you do not have the option to modify your reservation online, your My Disney Experience Account should present a phone number to call and receive additional assistance from a Cast Member.

I hope this helps, Venissa! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
