Due to the early registration of the Disneyland Half, I wanted to know if I can pay to reserve a spot but be able to get a refund if I cannot make as a college-bound student. Also, do you know why registration is so early this year, thanks.

Hi JJ!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I understand that it is hard to make plans that far in advance. For a direct registration, you cannot reserve a spot. You can only register for your event and pay in full.

You may try going through a travel provider to see if there is more flexibility with their registration policies. They generally have a certain number of bibs to sell, and may be able to work with you and your schedule. You will be able to find a list of Travel Providers participating in the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend soon on the race's registration page. (click on the Travel Providers tab)

I'm honestly not sure why they moved registrations up for most races. It's a good question and I'm guessing there is a good reason .... I will see if I can find out!
