Hi there Jodie,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question - I'm so sorry it's under these circumstances though and I wish your 11-year-old a speedy recovery.
I'm not a doctor nor am I able to give any kind of medical advice, so my first recommendation would be to discuss your trip with your medical provider to get recommendations on how to handle it.
While the
attractions at the Disneyland Resort vary in how thrilling they are, the vast majority of them do have slight bumps, stops, and turns. From what I've heard, a broken clavicle can be quite painful so I'd hate for your child to be in more pain during your visit. Though again I think it really depends on the advice from your doctor and how your kiddo is feeling.
Having said that, there is a lot to do around the Happiest Place on Earth that doesn't involve attractions - or at least the more easy-going ones. There are also
shows, parades, and nighttime spectaculars to enjoy.
However, if your kiddo was hoping to get in a bunch of attractions during your trip you have the flexibility to reschedule to allow more time for recovery then that might be the best option!
Thank you again for your question and I hope that your upcoming trip is filled with fun new memories together!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
