Due to Covid, we would rather drive to each park instead of taking resort transportation. Is there a parking fee at parks for resort guests?

Welcome to planDisney, Cindy! I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a special trip to Walt Disney World Resort. I just returned today from a holiday at The Most Magical Place On Earth where I used both a personal vehicle as well as complimentary Disney transportation so I'm happy to walk you through exactly what you need to know while you're getting around next week!

Cindy, if you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel on your trip, then your Theme Park parking is complimentary! You won't need to pay at the toll booth when you arrive, you'll only need to scan your MagicBand so a Cast Member can verify your reservation. Vehicles are being parked spaced out so you can maintain appropriate distance from other guests while you're getting out of your car. Keep in mind that the parking trams are not currently running so you'll need to be able to walk the short to moderate distance from your parking space to the gates of the Theme Park.

If at any point you feel like you might want to use the bus, monorail, boats or Disney Skyliner, they are all available for you to use as well with extra safety precautions in place. I used these transportation methods over the last few days it was very efficient and safe, so don't hesitate to use any of them if you want to try something different!

    Have a magical day, Cindy!
