    Due to Covid 19 I plan to reschedule my reservation until next year. Current reservation is for Dec this year. How long should I wait to reschedule for December 2021 considering there is a 14 month window when I originally scheduled?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy you stopped by with your question. 

    Currently, Walt Disney World Resort 2021 vacation packages are available for booking through the early fall. While December 2021 packages are not yet available, stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for updated booking information and more! 

    I usually suggest booking Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages at least six to seven months out, as Advanced Dining Reservations will open 180 days before your arrival. I am also an early planner, but if you aren't able to finalize your new booking within the same 14 months you had before, you will still have lots of time to select your favorite dining selections before you can make those reservations.

    I am so excited that you are still going to visit in December! Don't forget to get your tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. The festive parade, delicious hot chocolate, and unique character appearances are sure to put you and your family in the holiday spirit! I also love watching Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. First of all, it is the most fun thing to say! The seasonally themed fireworks and laser show surround you while you listen and sing along to your favorite holiday tunes.
