Hey Matias
Welcome to
planDisney!
It sounds like you were planning a wonderful trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! I’m so sorry to hear that you had to cancel your June Trip to the Disneyland Resort. I have already cancelled 4 Disney Trips this year so I understand how frustrating and sad it can make you feel. It’s definitely been a year of many changes and like you said, life has changed so much. I hope that you’ve been able to stay well during these uncertain times and have found ways to keep that Disney spark alive.
At this time, if your ticket does not fall into one of
these categories then no further extensions or refunds will be provided. The tickets will expire on their respective expiration date. Even though the Disneyland Resort isn’t offering refunds for expired or unused tickets, in most cases you are able to apply the value paid for your ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket. If there has been a price increase then you would just pay the difference. Think of it almost like having a credit towards new tickets when the theme parks re-open. I know you were hoping for a refund but at least your theme park tickets will be mostly taken care of for your next trip. I would also advise you to get in touch with your travel agent if you used one to book your trip. You may find that they have a different policy than the Disneyland Resort and may be open to providing you with a refund. It doesn’t hurt to check with them as well.
Well Matias, I hope this information finds you well and that we are able to welcome you to the Disneyland Resort in the future.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
