Welcome to planDisney, Joanna! I’m glad you brought your question to us!
As much as Peter Pan tries to prevent it from happening, our kids do grow up! As they start to get a little older, sometimes the kid’s menu still appeals to their appetites and/or tastes. We have found that a kind request to our server, at most Disney Dining locations, usually results in our kids being allowed to order from the kid’s menu. It’s important to be understanding if a Cast Member is unable to honor your request as Guests over nine years old are technically not supposed to order from the kid’s menu. However, most Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your request.
Joanna, don’t forget to consider using the
mobile dining option! This service is incredibly convenient for Guests! It can be found right at your fingertips on your
My Disney Experience app! I have used this service at my Walt Disney World Resort hotel and in the Disney Parks as well! Just open the app and tap the tile that states, “Mobile Food Orders.” With a little bit of Disney magic your order will be ready upon your request!
Happy Planning!
