Due to arthritis I need a shower that you can walk into - ie not over a bath. We've been told only Old Key West and Saratoga Springs villas are suitable but I'm sure we stayed in a hotel with a walk in shower previously. Can anyone advise? Thanks

    Greetings to you, Caroline!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad that you stopped by with a question for us!

As you are starting to plan your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, choosing the right resort and room type is very important in order to ensure that you have a comfortable place for you and your family to stay. The good news is that the Disney Resorts offer something for everyone and with so many to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect place!

Many of the Deluxe Villas have a one or two bedroom villa that will have a walk-in shower that would work for you. These include Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa as well as many of the others like Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. If you would prefer a more traditional room type, then any of the other resorts will offer accessible rooms that will have a walk-in shower. Just be sure to make a note of that as a special request if you make your reservation online or let the Cast Member know if you call to make your reservation.

Caroline, I do think you'll find something that will work for you so that you can enjoy your vacation. If you happen upon any other questions, just let us know. We're always happy to help. Have a magical day!
