Hello, we are due to arrive at Pop Century on August 13th and have placed a Walmart order to be delivered to bell services ahead of our arrival. Am I correct in thinking there is a $6 fee to pay, how do we pay this? Should we also tip bell services on top?

    Hi Heidi,

Can you believe you are going to be in Walt Disney World in less than a week?  It's true!  Just a few more sleeps and you will be on your way to the most Magical place on earth!

Heidi, just today I was talking to a friend at my work about how much we love Disney's Pop Century Resort.  We both agreed that the price point is such a good value for all the conveniences that this Resort offers.  From the Disney Skyliner whisking you to your next destination to the mouth-watering tie-dye cheesecake at Everything POP Shopping & Dining, we love it all and are big fans!

I'm glad you have discovered the conveniences of placing an order to be delivered to your Disney Resort hotel!  If you have placed a grocery order delivery that does not require an age/ID verification, your items will be stored by Bell Services, and you may pick them up whenever it is convenient for you.  There is no charge to pick your grocery order up yourself, but tipping is always appreciated and is a kind gesture.  Alternatively, for a $6 fee that is billed to your room you can call and have your order delivered to you at your room.  This is the current price for this service, and I want to note that prices are subject to change without notice.  The fee does not include gratuity, so it is considered polite to tip the Cast Member when they deliver your order to your room as well.  I have been pleasantly surprised by my Walmart grocery delivery order in the past and also with the wide variety of items I can include on my grocery order that isn't only food, such as sunscreen.  One time, I even included some socks since one of my family members didn't pack enough.

If you have ordered from Walmart "shipping" and not delivery from a local store, then that package will be sent via the US Postal Services and will be sent to your Disney Resort hotel front desk.  Items like these would not be grocery items from your local store and you would not have a specific delivery time since they are sent through the mail system.  Packages that are sent to the front desk have a $6 fee which is billed to your room account.  Again, this is the current price for this service and is subject to change without notice.  Here is a link to a page which explains the current process for mail services and grocery delivery at Disney Resort hotels.

I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning!  Please come back and visit us here at planDisney with all of your vacation questions.  We are always excited to help you plan your next Magical adventure!
