Hi! Our dtr just got braces and it's much more difficult eating for her than we expected. I'm wondering, if she can't eat what's on the menu would the chefs be willing to prepare something different for her? We have the dining plan.

Hi, Kevin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Having a daughter with a tree nut allergy, I can tell you that Walt Disney World Resort restaurants have always gone above and beyond to assure that her dietary needs are met, without it feeling like a burden.
One thing I love about dining at Walt Disney World Resort is being able to view Disney restaurant menus online when making a decision; I suggest taking a look before making your Advanced Dining Reservations. Also, when you make your online Advanced Dining Reservation, you can include certain dietary requests. Seeing as though your daughter’s dietary restrictions are a little more specific, I would suggest calling Disney Dining Reservations to have a note added to your file and to each Disney Dining reservation. At times, the chef even came out to our table to discuss our options, so I am very confident that they will be able to accommodate your daughter as well.

Have a magical vacation and bon appétit!
