Are there dryers when you get off of the Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom?

Hi Theresa! Thanks so much for your question. Kali River Rapids is one of my favorite water attractions at Walt Disney World, and Disney's Animal Kingdom is my favorite park. Fun fact, before Animal Kingdom opened in 1998, my father worked in construction and helped to build things like the Monkey Temples in Asia and he even helped lay the foundation of Kali River Rapids. Anytime I travel with my family we always stop and take time to appreciate our special family history with Animal Kingdom and to share stories about my father.

One of the main themes of Animal Kingdom is the power of nature. Kali River Rapids preserves this theme by taking you on a whitewater rapids excursion through the story of deforestation. Animal Kingdom has always made conservation a high priority which, in my opinion, sets it a part from all other parks. Another fun fact, Kali is the Hindu goddess of time, power, and change. She has long represented the powerful, and sometimes destructive forces of nature.

In all of my experiences I have never seen dryers available after this attraction. I strongly suggest bringing along a poncho and a towel for when you get off of the ride. You can never predict how wet you are going to get because the ride vehicle floats and spins in different ways each time. There was one time where I was dripping wet while everyone else was completely dry. Every trip down the Kali River is a surprise!

Enjoy the ride, and have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
