Hiya Jeff,
Welcome to planDisney! Split stays are such a great way to experience more magic during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. For my family and I, split stays allow us to spend time at a deluxe resort while also being mindful of our budget.
I have yet to stay at Drury Plaza Hotel, Jeff, but I’ve heard fantastic things about it! I hope your stay is incredible! Unfortunately, Bell Services can only transfer luggage from one Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel to another, and this does not extend to
Good Neighbor Hotels such as Drury Plaza Hotel. To get your luggage from Drury Plaza Hotel to
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you will have to transport it yourself. As a mom to a toddler, I know this can be a potential nightmare and a lot of coordination. Usually, Jeff, I would recommend the
Minnie Van Service to help you transport your luggage since it accommodates car seats, but since Minnie Vans only provides services to and from Disney Springs, resort hotels in the Walt Disney World Resort Collection, and a select few other locations this would not be the best option. Your best bet is to grab a rideshare from Drury Plaza Hotel, take that to your next resort hotel, and drop off your luggage.
I know this is not the answer you were hoping for, Jeff, and it might add a little more stress to your day. I chatted with my Prince Charming about this, and we discussed what we would do in this instance. After much discussion, we determined that one of us would take the rideshare with the luggage to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Since not all rideshares can accommodate a car seat, the other would take the theme park transportation from Drury Plaza Hotel with our toddler to whatever Theme Park we had on our itinerary for the day. Then, once the bags were dropped at Bell Services, we would reunite at the Theme Park. It is definitely not a perfect solution, but it would do the trick for us.
I hope this was helpful. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
