If we drove and not staying on Disney property do we have to pay parking to go the Boardwalk?

    Hi Doug!

The Disney Boardwalk area is a great place to spend some time while visiting Walt Disney World. Between great dining and special entertainment as well as shopping you can find something for just about everyone.

Entering the Boardwalk Resort area is allowed only by going through the security gates. Let the guard know what your intentions are and be prepared to show your drivers license. He will direct you to guest parking that is available. Parking is complimentary.

Please note that at certain times of the year these areas will be full and they will not allow any more autos into the resort. If that is the case your other option is to park using the Valet Parking. This is a $25 charge per day but if you can’t get in for the regular lot then this is a great second option.

This resort will often become very strict about allowing guests to park during the special Epcot Festivals such as the Food and Wine, Flower and Garden, and Festival of the Arts. Please understand that the Epcot resorts must keep enough parking for their registered guests first and foremost. They will try to accommodate everyone but sometimes there just isn’t space.
