    We will be dropping our dog at the Best Friends Pet Care on Disney property after we land at the MCO airport. Once we arrive at our Disney hotel, we would like to take a Minnie van to drop him off. Will my dog be allowed (in a carrier) in the Minnie Van?

    It's so nice to hear that you're taking your furry pal along on your vacation so they can enjoy their time away from you at the Best Friends Pet Hotel at Walt Disney World Resort. Our friends recently flew down to Florida with their dogs and did experience some challenges trying to secure a rideshare driver who was willing to take their whole family - "furbabies" included!

    You'll be happy to hear that they were able to successfully transport their dogs by taking advantage of the Minnie Van service.  Our friends even reported that for one of their rides, their dogs did not need to be in a carrier and the driver had a handy protection pad for them to sit on. While their policies may be subject to change and availability on the day, I asked a Guest Relations Cast Member who confirmed today that this was one of the forms of transportation on property that non-service animals are currently free to use.

    Have you taken a look at some of the Resort Hotels that have pet-friendly accommodations? They even come with a cute package called "Pluto's Welcome Kit" which may include Disney-themed bowls, a mat, pads and more! Be sure to check out some great places at Disney Springs like Marketplace Co-Op - Disney Tails to find the perfect toys and apparel for your Pawsome Pal, or even Sprinkles where you can get them a well-deserved Pupcake for being so good during your visit!
