Is there a way to be dropped off at a disney park (Orlando) and then walk without having to pay the parking fee(since the car would only be used to drop me off)?

Welcome to planDisney, Simon! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Transportation is going to be one of the biggest parts of your trip to Walt Disney World Resort, so let's chat about getting dropped off and being picked up by a rideshare or personal vehicle.

I am pleased to tell you that you can be dropped off at each of the four Theme Parks without having to pay a parking fee. When you arrive at the toll plaza, just tell the Cast Member in the booth that you're being dropped off, and they'll wave you right through. EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom all have parking lots connected to the respective Theme Parks, but drop off and parking for Magic Kingdom Park is at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Once you arrive, you'll continue to the Theme Park via a short ferry boat or monorail ride! When you're ready to leave, you can repeat the same process in reverse and get picked up from the same spot where you were dropped off.

I hope this answers your question, Simon, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
