Aloha, Mike! It looks like I'm not the only one sitting in New Jersey daydreaming of a tropical destination.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has a main building called the Great Ceremonial House. The entrance to this main lobby area is located under the porte-cochere right at the front of the resort. When you get dropped off, this is where they'll bring you.
If you are staying at the resort, Mike, and you are in one of the longhouses closer to the Disney Vacation Club side of the resort, you can have the van drop you off in the parking lot on that side. The longhouses closest to that parking lot are Pago Pago, Moorea, and Tokelau.
If you're just visiting the resort and not staying, you will find virtually everything you need right there at the Great Ceremonial House. Restaurants like
Kona Cafe and
'Ohana are located in the main part of the building, and you just have to take the elevator upstairs. For some fun cocktails and an even more fun atmosphere,
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is just off the main lobby area.
Also located in the Great Ceremonial House is the
monorail station for this resort, so if you are staying there, it's convenient transportation to get to Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. And if you are staying at the resort, there are beautifully appointed
accessible rooms.
Thanks so much for your question, Mike! I hope your upcoming trip is practically perfect in every way!
Anna
