Can I drop my young adult children off somewhere close to the entrance of the park? Please let me have directions. Thanks

Hello from one Melissa to another Mellissa! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I jumped on this question because my family and I regularly utilize the guest pick up and drop-off areas at the Disneyland Resort. When we had three kids ages three years old and younger, it was a game-changer for us to drop off one adult with the three kids at the Harbor Boulevard drop-off area. So I completely understand the appeal!

There are actually two guest pick up/drop off locations. Here is information on how to access these locations directly from the Disneyland website

    • Downtown Disney District – Take Magic Way from Disneyland Drive, then turn left at Downtown Drive and follow signs to the drop-off area. Standard parking rates will apply after the 15-minute grace period.
    • Harbor Boulevard – Enter the drop-off area from the right southbound lane of South Harbor Boulevard between South Manchester Avenue and Disney Way.
Please note that all guests will go through a security checkpoint when entering from either drop off location. Also, per the Disneyland Resort Rules, all Guests under 14 years of age must be accompanied by another Guest 14 years of age or older.

I hope this helps, Mellissa! Please visit us again at planDisney soon!

    Best,
    Melissa
