Welcome to planDisney Alisa!
When it is finally "Cruise Day" I cannot wait to board the ship! I know Captains Mickey and Minnie and their crew are getting everything in ship-shape order for everyone's arrival and I want to get the fun started!
During your online check-in, you will choose your Port Arrival Time. If you arrive before this scheduled time, you may drop off your luggage to the friendly porters outside the
terminal. They will make sure your bags are
properly tagged and transferred to the ship. However, you may not enter the terminal until your scheduled time. There will be Disney Cruise Line agents checking your Port Arrival form and will allow guests to enter during their assigned time.
Once it is your assigned Port Arrival Time, you will enter the terminal and go through all the check-in procedures and security. When you hear your boarding group called, it is time to board the ship - Hooray!
One tip for you regarding your checked luggage: Your
tagged bags may not be delivered to your stateroom until later in the afternoon. Since you will not have access to your luggage, keep a tote bag or backpack with your travel documents, passports, medication, and anything you might want during the first few hours of your cruise including swimsuits, sunglasses, and sunscreen. I also like to have my phone charger and any valuables like jewelry.
I am sure you are excited to start
packing for your cruise! Have fun and I hope to SEA you onboard real soon!
