Can I drop off guests at animal kingdom?

Hey, Edward and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited to help a fellow Georgian plan a magical vacation to the place “where dreams come true.”

You will not need Dumbo the Flying Elephant or a Magic Carpet of Aladdin to drop off a member of your party at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. Each has a special location to make getting to the magic easier. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has a close drop-off/pickup location at the taxi drop-off area. When you pull up to the toll plaza let the Cast Member know you are dropping a Guest off and they will guide on your parking lot adventure. It is a simple 3-minute walk from the drop-off/pickup area to see beautiful flora and animals indigenous to the continents of Africa and Asia as well as Pandora - The World of Avatar. In Pandora, in the Valley of Mo’ara, watch out for the Flaska Reclinata, you might just get a little wet.

Disney Dad Tip: One of the best attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is UP! A Great Bird Adventure where Russell and Dug entertain and educate Guests about some of the most spectacular aerial acrobats.

Edward, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
