Hi, Kimberly!
Your
kids are going to have so much fun at the clubs during your Disney Cruise. When my kids were younger, they loved meeting new friends and hanging out with the counselors and enjoying all the planned activities. Stop by on embarkation day to take a tour of the facilities so everyone can get familiarized with the space.
Food is not served in the
Disney Oceaneer Club (ages 3 -10). I suggest that if you plan to be off the ship for a Port Adventure that you enjoy a large breakfast as a family, then plan to return in time for an early afternoon lunch. Kids in the Oceaneer Club may not check in or out of the club without a parent. If your kids are ages 11 - 14 (
Edge) or 14 - 17 (
Vibe) they are able to check themselves in or out of the clubs and therefore will be able to head to lunch on their own.
If you plan to leave the ship on a port day while your kids enjoy the clubs, please let the counselors know so they have your contact information. When booking any Port Adventures, choose activities that will have you back in time for meals if necessary. The times and duration of each Port Adventure will be listed in its description.
Another option is to find Port Adventures that are family friendly so you can take the whole family. Depending on the port, you may find activities such as museums, water parks, or beaches where everyone can participate!
I hope you find the perfect way to enjoy your Ports of Call during your Disney Cruise.
Port Adventures can be booked once you are paid in full and within your booking window or visit the
Port Adventures Desk once onboard.
Wishing you a magical sailing with Captains Mickey and Minnie!
Cathy
