Can you make a droid-building reservation for late afternoon if you plan to visit HS as your 2nd park after 2 PM on a park hopper? We want to visit AK in the morning and HS/Star Wars in the PM. We aren’t worried about the Star Wars rides, just activities.

Welcome young Padawan to planDisney. I will be more than happy to teach you the ways of the Force, Ashley.

I’m so excited to see that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort. I’m sensing that the Force is strong within you, especially if you are looking to build your very own Astromech Unit. Droid Depot is such a fun experience! Our family has also gained a BB-Series Droid.

As a Star Wars fan myself, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has become one of my favorite parks to visit. The challenge with booking a later reservation for Droid Depot is that there are no guarantees Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be available for you to visit during Park Hopping hours. Keep in mind, that the ability to visit another park will be subject to the park’s capacity limitations. My recommendation would be to start your day, with a park reservation, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios if Droid Depot is on your must-do list. That way you know that you be able to make your reservation and not have to worry about Park Hopping capacity. Ending your day under the bioluminescent lights of Pandora - The World of Avatar, is just as great!

I trust the Force will lead you down the right path, Padawan. Please let the Jedi Masters know if you have any other questions about your upcoming visit. Training is always available to those who choose to defeat the Dark Side.

May the Force be with you!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
