    Hi there! Will the Droid Depot in Galaxy's Edge be open during the 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM Extra Magic Hours at Hollywood Studios that are starting after September 1st? Thanks!!

    Hi, Jenna!  Or as they say on the planet Batuu, "Bright suns!"

    You have certainly chosen an exciting time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!  With the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge on August 29, 2019, guests will be able to live out their very own Star Wars adventures.  In order to accommodate the large number of guests wishing to explore Black Spire Outpost, it was recently announced that there will be extra, Extra Magic Hours offered for a limited time this fall at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  From September 1 to November 2, 2019, guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel will have exclusive access to Disney's Hollywood Studios daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

    During extra, Extra Magic Hours, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be available, as well as Toy Story Land and select other attractions.  So far, this is all the information that has been released with regard to extra, Extra Magic Hours, but keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more details as they become available.  Please also keep in mind that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and its experiences will be subject to capacity restrictions.

    A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland Resort.  It truly was a childhood dream come true for a Star Wars fan like me.  I was blown away by the level of detail in this highly immersive new land.  It exceeded all of my expectations, and I cannot wait to visit again once Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is available at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    I would definitely recommend stopping by the Droid Depot as you explore Black Spire Outpost.  Along with a wide selection of droid related merchandise, the Droid Depot also offers a retail experience in which guests can build their very own BB-series or R-series astromech droid.  Once built, guests can place their droids in an activation station to bring them to life.  Droids can even be customized with personality affiliation chips and other accessories.  After the droids are activated, they may interact with other astromech droids and various Bluetooth-enabled elements throughout Black Spire Outpost.
