We are driving to WDW and will be staying at Animal Kingdom in a 1 bdrm villa with a 4YO and 2YO. Where is the best place to purchase food to stock the kitchen; somewhere on Disney property ? or should we look for a food store before we entering Disney

Hi Nicole! I would recommend that you drive to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and check-in before you shop for groceries. If your car is packed to the max like ours when we travel to Walt Disney World, then you will appreciate having the space to put your groceries after you've unloaded the luggage. If your Villa is not quite ready, then you can leave your luggage with Bell Services.  You can drive over to one of several local grocery/shopping stores.

There are two Wal-Mart Shopping Centers very close to Walt Disney World Resort. One at 3250 Vineland Road and one at 8990 Turkey Lake Road. There is also a new Super Target located near Walt Disney World Resort on 192. I am a Target shopper at home, so I am very familiar with the store layout and that makes shopping all the more easier. The Publix is also across the street from this Super Target. When we use our crock-pot to cook meals and I need specific cuts of meat, we also make a quick stop there.

    Hope this helps.
