We will be driving to WDW and will probably arrive much earlier than our 3:00 check in time at Pop Century. Will we be able to check in at the front desk and at least get our park tickets so we can start enjoying the park right away?

Hi Jill, You can enjoy the Magic right away!

You'll be able to pre-register as soon as you arrive. While your room may not be ready, you can store your bags and pick up your  "Key to the World Cards". These serve as your Park passes and if you have purchased the Dining Plan, they will also have your dining credits on them. This card is also your room key. You can then head out and enjoy the Parks and restaurants for the day.

If you want to know when your room is ready during the day, Disney offers a really neat feature called the "Mobile Room Ready Notification Service". You can leave your cell phone number with the Front Desk and they will text you when your room is ready and let you know the room number (Note: standard text message rates do apply)! If you don't have a cell phone (or a text plan), the Front Desk can give you card with a with a special number to call and see if its ready.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!

Hope this helps and that you have a magical vacation!
