We're driving to WDW on 2/20/09 and are planning to spend our first day at Epcot. We have late dinner reservations for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. Is it possible to take the boat to Pioneer Hall from Epcot? Does the boat still run after the last seating?

    Shawn:

Unfortunately, the boat that serves Fort Wilderness isn't the same boat that travels to Epcot.  The fastest mode of transportation from Epcot to Fort Wilderness is by bus.  Once the bus drops you off at the Outpost bus stop at Fort Wilderness, take the Settlement bus to the stop near the entrance to the Hoop dee Doo Revue.

If you want to make a leisure time of it, you can take a boat....from Epcot you'd take the monorail to the Ticket & Transportation Center and transfer to the monorail headed to Magic Kingdom.  Once you're let off at Magic Kingdom, take the boat launch to Fort Wilderness.  The Settlement (and the location of Hoop dee Doo) will be just a short walk from the pier.  Keep in mind, though, that although it's doable, it's probably double the travel time.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
