Hi were driving to wdw may 14-20. And hubby needs scooter while im pushing stroller what is best /easiest way to parks , will it be over crorwed on buses? From the start of starwars weekends?

Hi Cindy! Depending on which resort you will be staying at you will likely be taking a bus to the parks. The buses are equipped to handle wheelchairs and scooters although it takes a bit extra time to get them into the vehicle and locked into place for safety sake. Your husband will need to drive the scooter up the ramp into the bus. Most boats are also equipped for scooters but they can be a bit trickier since the doorways are not a straight in shot. Since parking is often not close unless you will have a handicap permit I suggest the bus transportation over driving. If you have a valid permit then go ahead and drive as the parking is close by the entrances.

You never know about crowds on the buses or in the parks. Star Wars will draw extra guests to Hollywood Studios but generally the other parks will hold to average attendance numbers.

Your other option is to rent a scooter in each park but that will mean a walk to the rental location and it might be too much for your husband. If you bring your own scooter you also have it during your resort stay to explore the area.

Please remember that all strollers on buses must be folded so try to carry minimal equipment with you each day. I have seen many guests really struggle to fold a stroller, keep hold of their children, and get on the bus. With the addition of a scooter you want to make this as easy as possible. Enjoy!
