I will be driving to WDW in a few weeks and staying off property at a friend's house. We have a ADR for breakfast and wondering if we could leave the car parked there for the day and take the monorail to the park after breakfast.

Hi there, Tyler! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy to be able to help you today.

The countdown to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is on! In just a few short days, you will be on the adventure of a lifetime, enjoying all that Walt Disney World has to offer! Did you know that you'll be visiting during The World's Most Magical Celebration in honor of Walt Disney World's 50th? It is such a fabulous time to be in the parks, with sprinklings of EARidescent pixie dust around every corner, so I'm so excited for you to arrive to join in on the fun! Do keep an eye out for the celebratory bites available throughout the parks. These delicious treats are only available for a limited time, so be sure to try a few before they're gone!

Is there anything better than a delicious breakfast at one of the incredible restaurants at Walt Disney World? There is something so special about starting your day with a fabulous meal as you get hyped up for the fun that's to come! I'm so excited to hear you have secured an Advanced Dining Reservation for the most important meal of the day, so let's get your parking questions answered! While there is complimentary parking at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels for Guests with Advanced Dining Reservations, there is a maximum parking time of three hours. So, unfortunately, you would not be able to leave your car parked at the resort for the entire day.

The parking lots at Magic Kingdom Park open 45-60 minutes before the official park opening time. So, if you're dining at one of the three resorts on the Resorts Monorail line, you could park at Magic Kingdom and then enjoy a ride on the Monorail over to your breakfast. Then, once you're done with your meal, you can hop back on the Monorail to head over to Magic Kingdom to enjoy your day in the park! Alternatively, you can first use the complimentary parking at the hotel for your breakfast reservation and then move your car over to the Magic Kingdom parking lot when you're done.

Tyler, I hope this has been helpful to you! Please feel free to visit us again with any other vacation planning questions you may have!

    See you real soon,
