We are driving and staying at FW cabins June 5-11. What will be faster getting to the parks, driving ourselves or using the buses or boats?

    Hi Briana,

This is the subject of many conversations between myself and my husband.  The only thing we are absolutely sure about is that its always quicker to take a bus or boat to the Magic Kingdom.  When you drive there you need to deal with some traffic, take a tram to the transportation and ticket center, then take a ferry or monorail to the entrance of the park.  When you take a WDW bus or bus you get let out right outside the entrance.

As for other parks, it may be a slight advantage to take your own car.  When you drive your own car, you need to park in the larger lot and either walk or take a tram to the entrance.  Those options both take about 10 minutes.  The one advantage you have is that your car will be right outside your front door.

    Enjoy your stay,

    Michelle
