We are driving from PA to Disney for our stay 8/28-9/3. Our daughter is 2 1/2 and this will be her first (our 3rd) time there. Is there anything special going on during our stay?

    Hi Melissa,

Before we moved to TN, we drove from our home in PA to Walt Disney World many times. It took us 16 hours of on the road time which we broke up into two days.

I'm so excited to hear about your daughter's first trip to WDW. Our son made his first Disney journey at the age of 2 and it was absolutely memorable. I'm sure your trip will be very magical.

I'm not aware of any special events during your vacation dates. That's a good thing though as it will keep the crowd level at a low to moderate level. And since many schools across the country (including ours here in TN) are already back in session, you'll be arriving after the summer crowds have departed.

Drive safely and I hope your family returns home with lasting memories!
