Driving to Orlando night before vacation. We will be at our Disney hotel early. Realize we can enter parks and leave luggage if room's not ready. Will our bags be brought to our room when it's ready or would they stay in main lobby until we return?

Hi Debbie!  You are correct in that you can do all the check-in paper work that is necessary even if your room is not ready and then go play in the parks for a while.  Your luggage will be left with the bell staff and it will remain with them until you return to your room.  Once you are in your room you can call them and they will then deliver the luggage to you.  Sometimes we have been able to stop at the bell station in the lobby and let them know we are on our way to the room and give them the room number.  This sometimes saves at least a few minutes time. If you only have a few pieces of luggage and you feel you can handle it yourself you can retrieve it and take it to the room without waiting for them. This is nice if they are very busy.
