Hello! We are driving to Orlando in May, and staying at a non-disney hotel. I have a BBB reservation for my daughter at 4 in the DD boutique. I want to have dinner at 1900 park fare after, what is the best way to get there from BBB? We will have a car.

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

Since you have a car, you should drive.  You can park at Downtown Disney for free.  After your appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, simply drive to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for your dinner at 1900 Park Fare.  As a guest with dinner reservations, you will be allowed to park at Disney's Grand Floridian for your dinner, and you won't have to pay for parking.  The cast member at the gate of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa may ask for you name to check that you are on the list for dinner reservations.

My family and I drive around Walt Disney World property all of the time.  People are amazed at how well we "know" our way around the resort - but here's a secret: I really don't know my way around that well at all!  The signage on Walt Disney World property is so amazing.  All you have to do is follow signs for where you want to go, and you'll get there!  When you leave Downtown Disney, start looking for signs for Magic Kingdom and Magic Kingdom Resort Area.  As you get closer, follow those for Magic Kingdom Resort Area and then Disney's Grand Floridian.  You will need to go through the gates for Magic Kingdom to get to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  Again, simply explain that you are heading to 1900 Park Fare for dinner and you should be waved right through.

I hope this answers your question, Sarah!  Have a wonderful time seeing your daughter become a princess at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and enjoy your meal at 1900 Park Fare.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
