We are driving to Orlando the day before our WDW vacation begins ( a 12 hour haul). What time should we get to the hotel ( POFQ) drop off our bags, get tickets, and be at the rope drop for MK? Thanks!!

    Hello Jodie!

Wow!  Now that is how you start a Walt Disney World vacation!  It sounds like your family knows how to have some FUN!

If you are driving in from Tennessee, I would definitely try to be at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter AT LEAST by 6:45 AM.  You never know how long the line will be to check-in at the resort.  You really need to try and be in line to ride the bus to Magic Kingdom by 7:45 AM to ensure you get there in time for park opening.

To save time, you might want to think about just locking your luggage in your car.  If you can't hide your luggage, then it would be best to check in your luggage at the resort luggage holding area.  More than likely, your resort room will not be ready that early.

I KNOW you all are going to have an incredible time!  If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
