We will be driving through the night arriving on our checkin day by 9am, has anyone done this before? It is a 9-10hr drive for us and we are thinking of leaving in the middle of the night and just relaxing at the hotel bc there are no parks planned.

    Hello there Connie,

That seems like a good idea to leave in the middle of the night. I have done it on several occasions and you may want to take a few breaks while you are driving, just to stay on the safe side. When you arrive at your resort, you will most certainly be able to check in at whichever time you arrive. Even if there isn't a room available, you can use the resort facilities without problems. If you do an online check-in prior to your departure, all of your information will be ready for you when you arrive and it's much quicker than standard check-in. I suggest having your bathing suits in a separate small bag and heading over to the pool to enjoy your resort until the room is ready.

Thank you so very much for asking the Moms Panel! I hope you have a fantastic time on your trip and if you have additional questions, we are always here to help!
