We’ll be driving but we need to return the rental car to Orlando Int Airport. Can we take the Magical Express from there to our hotel even if we are not arriving on a flight? We would like to have that experience with the kids...

    Hi Kristin!

My family adores Disney's Magical Express. In fact, my kids lovingly call it the first ride of our trip, so I completely understand why you want to make sure your kiddos experience that first taste of magic.

I'm excited to share that yes, you will be able to take Disney's Magical Express from the Orlando International Airport to your Resort Hotel as long as your Resort Hotel Reservation is the same day. Luckily, the criteria for making a Disney's Magical Express reservation isn't depending on how you arrived to the airport, but rather that you are checking in to a participating Disney Resort Hotel. When making the reservation for your motorcoach, simply let them know you'll be returning a rental car and therefore do not have arriving flight information.

Bonus suggestion: Study your Disney trivia! Disney's Magical Express has some great trivia questions that play on the television screens during your drive. It's a tradition for my family to play along and see who knows their Disney facts. Don't be afraid to let that pixie dust sparkle.

Have an incredible vacation, Kristin, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
