We will be driving a long distance to Disney and expect to arrive around noon to 1 pm. Standard check-in is at 3pm. Where should we expect to park and what can we plan to do until check-in.

    Hi Rhonda!

When you do online check-in, be sure to choose your estimated arrival time.  When you arrive at Walt Disney World, you can go directly to your Resort hotel to check-in and see if your room is ready.  If it is not, you can hang out and grab a bite to eat, head to the pool or arcade or drive over to Disney Springs for a couple of hours.  There are plenty of things to keep you busy at Disney Springs, which makes it my favorite spot to go to on arrival day.  If your kids are into LEGOs, check out The LEGO Store.  They can build their own vehicle for racing.  We like to check out Uniqlo to see if they are doing any complimentary demonstrations.  Sometimes they have origami making or you can have your name written in Japanese and take it home as a complimentary keepsake.  There are tons of places to get a sweet treat.  The cupcakes at Sprinkles are delicious!  My favorite quick bite is at Blaze Fast-Fired Pizza.  You can create your own pizza and it'll be ready in no time.  The price is very reasonable.  My kids call it their favorite all time pizza place.  You have the option of receiving a text message when your room is ready, so you can enjoy yourself until your notification arrives.

    Have a magical day!
