We will be driving from Indiana and arriving at our resort, hopefully, early on April 21. Our stay is 4/21-27. I am wondering, if we arrive mid-morning, how can we get our tickets and begin enjoying the parks before officially checking in?

    Hi Elizabeth,

Many guests arrive before check-in time at their Walt Disney World resort on their first day.  I heartily encourage you to do so.  You might as well squeeze as many minutes of magic out of your vacation as possible.  Right?

If you have purchased theme park tickets as part of your Disney vacation package, simply report directly to your home resort upon your arrival on Disney property.  Go to the check-in desk even though it is not yet check-in time.  Occasionally guests find out that their rooms are ready early and they can move right in.  In most cases, the rooms are not yet ready but the Cast Member at the desk can give you your Key to the World cards (with theme park tickets uploaded) and you can head directly to the theme park of your choice.  The Cast Member will then text or call you when your hotel room is ready for occupancy.

Let us know if you have any additional questions, Elizabeth, and have a truly magical vacation in April!
